Winslow and I are "training" to "run" the Battle For Brigham . Which in a way is hilarious. Jacob wants to "run" too. Well, I think I'll probably end up the walker with the runners. HA HA HA. So I am eating healthier and exercising and trying to get ready to do this so I don't totally die. :) It's only a 5k, yeah, I'm a wimp. This morning I am eating a grapefruit (and cereal) for breakfast.
So of course it brings to mind being a child and watching my dad eat grapefruit and thinking he was CRAZY! I didn't develop a love for grapefruit until we lived in Dallas and I had RUBY RED's.
My Grandma Minson had a grapefruit tree in her yard in Gilbert, AZ. She would send us home with an armful when we would visit.
She would tell us the story of feeding grapefruit to Grandpa, like you would eat an Orange, on long trips.
