Tonsils

Jacob got his tonsils out 2 and 1/2 weeks ago. Boy has it been exciting. I wasn't sure what possessed me to have Jacob undergo surgery just 2 weeks after my surgery, and having a brand new baby. Kind of crazy. Jacob did well considering. He had to take anti nausea medicine the first day because he couldn't keep anything down. Not good. But it did get better. There were a lot of sleepless nights feeding baby David, and then getting up later to give Jacob his pain meds. Of course they rarely timed their needs to coincide. Just a few days after Jacob's surgery we went to phoenix for a business mtg. (where by the way the AC was BROKEN...how do you people survive the heat!!!! i was melting!) The next day we drove to New Mexico to attend a funeral for Winslow's grandma. So we dragged an infant and a boy recovering from surgery all over. I am so grateful for all my friends who gave me tons of advice and help with tips to make it all easier. Jacob is doing much better now and likes his new "voice."
